Jason Diaz – Yoga Instructor
For many years I used yoga as a way to fix myself when I was hobbled from exercising, sports, or everyday wear and tear. I finally decided to take a more proactive approach to healthcare rather than my previous reactive, and gave yoga a chance.
As a person that has been physically active my entire life, a competitive spirit and a mental capacity to want to know why… yoga has provided an intriguing challenge. The postures, philosophies and movement of yoga provided such a challenge that every time I left a class, I was excited for the next opportunity to grow. Eventually, this inquisition extended beyond the mat and into my view of life. The energy and appreciation for yoga drove me to share it with others.
I am formally trained in Power Vinyasa but appreciate a multitude of styles and philosophies. Extending beyond the yoga studio, I am an Ayurvedic Life-Style Consultant. This certification wraps in health, philosophies, nature and many other entities that make up the “science of life”. In each of my classes, I try to incorporate all of these elements in hopes of providing something new or an “AHA moment”. I would also like to mention that I am a goofy individual and try to see humor in most everything.
