Dana Myers – Yoga Instructor
My journey into Yoga began in 2005. I found sanctity in the teachings of multiple styles of Yoga, however I truly fell in love with Vinyasa. After having been a student of Yoga for over 10 years, I decided to take my passion to new realms, and joined Core Power’s Teacher Training in the spring of 2016, where I earned my RYT 200 hour certification.
I enjoy teaching all levels of students, and believe truly that Yoga is for every body. I find that breath is the framework for Yoga, and by linking breath to movement in my classes I provide students with a uniquely sequenced Vinyasa flow. I am also a Certified Personal Trainer, and understand movement and anatomy offering my students a safe, yet powerful, athletic Yoga practice.
Someone once told me, ‘Yoga is not a thing that you do, but a lifestyle in which you do all things.’ This resonated with me, and how I hope to teach my students. The principles of Yoga, the Sutras, are the foundation in which I strive to live my life both on and off my mat.
