amy-salkAmy tried yoga for the first time in college, but it wasn’t until later, with life changes that she found an intense connection.  After five years of almost daily practice, she completed her 200-hour Power Yoga Certification in the Spring of 2014 and is now certified to teach both Vinyasa and Yoga Sculpt.

Yoga’s ability to center and balance, to offer gratitude, and the reminder to breathe in strength and breathe out love are Amy’s favorite aspects of the practice.  As a former gymnast, Amy also adores the grace and dance-like, full body flow of the Vinyasa style and the power and energy of Yoga Sculpt.

A Boston native, Amy has traveled the world, living in Boston, Miami, and Barcelona, before trading the oceans for mountains when she moved to Fort Collins in 2013.  She is a life-long learner with a master’s degree and years of professional experience in International Education, yielding a natural ability to connect and empathize with others of all backgrounds.

Teaching yoga ignites her passion for education and empowering others to find their inner strength, beauty, and light.  Amy strives to provide fulfilling and challenging yoga sequences through safe posture alignment, a gradual build, and a personalized experience to deepen one’s practice and strengthen the mind-body connection.
